Mr George Ang, aged 51, is the Director & Main Shareholder of Eng Food Holdings Pte Ltd, a holding company that owns some of the popular fast food chain & casual dining restaurants in Malaysia & Singapore; A&W, Subway, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. George holds the overall responsibility of managing the operations of all the restaurants and charting the strategic directions of the Group. Today, the Group operates more than 100 restaurants in the region.

His first taste in the F&B industry started when he joined Pizza Hut as a motorbike delivery boy when he was 17 years old. From there, he gained his passion in the F&B industry and while studying in Australia, he worked at several established restaurants in order to supplement his education costs.

In Oct 2018, George bought over A&W Malaysia at RM34 mil with 40 outlets. His vision is to make A&W the top 3 fast food chains in Malaysia. Now, he already marked 100th A&W stores operating in West Malaysia. On top of that, A&W Malaysia also has its own Kiosk concept which called as A&W Express and finally in year 2022, he has open one store in East Malaysia which is in A&W Inanam, Sabah and keep opening another outlet in year 2023. With that, he also growing the company with other brand in one roof under Inter Mark Resources Sdn Bhd such as Subway and Jamaica Blue in his ladder.
