Building a Coaching Culture to Future-Proof Public Service in an Age of Disruption
As public sector organisations navigate AI, digital transformation, and rising complexity, coaching is emerging as a powerful leadership capability for driving change.
This session shares INTAN’s experience in building a coaching culture across the Malaysian Public Service and explores how coaching strengthens leadership, organisational readiness, and resilience in times of disruption.
FAZRIN NAZMI BINTI ZAINOL ABIDIN is a Senior Training Consultant at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), Malaysia. She has more than 22 years of experience in the Malaysian public service, with postings across several ministries and government agencies.
Her current work at INTAN focuses on leadership development, learning and development, facilitation, and coaching for public sector officers. She is a Certified Professional Coach and a Certified Level 1 Trainer for the Certified Professional Coach Programme under the International Association of Coaching (IAC).
She has been involved in INTAN’s coaching-related programmes, including Coaching for Leaders, Train the Trainers, Learning Needs Analysis, and coaching support for participants of the Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan programme. Her professional interests include leadership capability, workplace learning, coaching conversations, and the role of coaching in supporting public service development.
For this session, she will share INTAN’s experience in strengthening coaching practice within the Malaysian Public Service, including lessons from Pandu Citra, coach development, community of practice, and coaching interventions.
